Jessie Lynn Nichols is the twenty-six-year-old from Prattville, Alabama where she currently holds the prestigious title of Miss Rodeo USA 2022. Nichols earned the title in January and has since hit the ground running across the United States representing the greatest sport on dirt, rodeo! However, rodeo isn’t all that Nichols is passionate about. Past the Sash, she is an upcoming country music artist. She is currently a member of the Academy of Country Music, Country Music Association and Recording Academy where she has earned several awards for music entertainer, songwriter, and producer.

Her love for creating original content led to establishing her own podcast. With her platform, “Be a Dreamcatcher”, she works to empower others to chase their dreams and persevere even when faced with barriers. “There’s more to being a dreamcatcher than just identifying your dreams. It involves capturing or filtering out the negative thoughts or actions around you and then concentrating and utilizing those experiences to create and motivate a positive and encouraging environment for those who come into contact with you. In other words, during the process of chasing your dreams, you experience disappointments and success along the way,” Nichols said.
“Be a Dreamcatcher” was awarded Podcast of the Year by the Women of the West Gala after celebrating its one-year anniversary. Her podcast will be honored on June, 4 at the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame, alongside several other women that have been recognized for their accomplishments in their field.
